Trio Guitar Trio

Trio Guitar Trio is pseudoflamenco, bowler hat jazz and classical quasi-music along with glimpses of bossa nova. The original compositions of the trio, in conjuction with their arrangements of known pop and film music pieces are abundant with beautiful melodies, technical virtuosity and catchy rhythms.

Trio Guitar Trio – the mother of all guitar trios – was formed in 2004 by a group of students of musicology at that time. Rather soon after the formation, compositions of their own started to emerge, which by now make up the core of the repertoire. Amidst their own material, renditions of known melodies for three guitars may be spotted.

The group has performed at summer festivals, bars, restaurants, and small private parties. As an amplified, but still an acoustic collective in nature, Trio Guitar Trio is best suited as an early-night performer at small or medium venues.
